Tea Party Protesters Greet Obama With Racism, Birtherism: ‘Kenyan Go Home’

When President Obama traveled to Orlando, Florida this weekend, Tea Party protesters greeted his motorcade with signs that read, “Kenyan Go Home.” According to a White House pool report, the crowd included fifty, mostly older, white protesters. Presumably, birthers at the protest held signs to “Impeach Obama” because they believe the president forged his birth certificate.

Earlier the same week, a crowd in Phoenix, Arizona shouted “47 percent negro,” sang “Bye Bye Black Sheep,” and carried signs, “Impeach the Half-White Muslim!” outside Obama’s event. Taking cues from conservative punditry, protesters accused the president of dividing “all the races.”
