To some, the North American Union is a dystopian nightmare. But some of us think it sounds like an idea with some promise and some merit. And as James Vreeland says “[a]s improbable as unity may seem for us three today, our prospects are certainly brighter than one would have imagined for France and Germany in the first half of the last century.” He even designed a flag:
