At the third presidential debate, Donald Trump, the Republican nominee for president, answered a question about his immigration plan by calling undocumented immigrants “bad hombres.”

His casually racist remarks should not come as any surprise to voters given the fact that he kicked off his campaign by saying Mexican immigrants are criminals and rapists.
“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re sending people who have lots of problems, and they’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, they’re rapists, and some I assume are good people,” Trump said at the time.
