During a brief press scrum before his speech to FBI agents on Friday morning, President Trump made his latest attempt to convince the American public that his campaign did not collude with Russia. As is his custom, the president enlisted a string of lies in the effort.

Over the course of 90 seconds, Trump made at least seven false claims. Below the video is a transcription of Trump’s remarks, with fact-checks of his whoppers noted throughout.

Let’s put it this way — there is absolutely no collusion. That has been proven.

No, it hasn’t. What we do have proof of is that the Trump campaign wanted to collude with Russia, and that Russian agents helped Trump by leaking hacked emails meant to make Democrats look bad. There is no proof, however, that collusion didn’t occur.

When you look at the committees, whether it’s the Senate or the House, everybody — my worst enemies, they walk out, they say, ‘there is no collusion but we’ll continue to look.’

This is not the conclusion of “everybody” on the committees. Multiple members of the committees say there has been evidence of collusion, if not yet definitive proof.

They’re spending millions and millions of dollars. There is absolutely no collusion. I didn’t make a phone call to Russia, I have nothing to do with Russia.

This is also false. Trump has gotten caught making contradictory statements about his relationship with Vladimir Putin, and his sons have bragged publicly about the Trump Organization’s business relationships with Russians.

Everybody knows it. That was a Democrat hoax, it was an excuse for losing the election, and it should have never been this way where they’ve spent all these millions of dollars.

The FBI investigation into the Trump campaign’s Russia contacts actually began before in July 2016, months before Clinton’s loss.

So now even the Democrats admit, there’s no collusion, there is no collusion, that’s it, and we gotta get back to running the country.

Again, the claim that any Democrat has “admitted” there’s no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia is false.

What we have found, and what they have found, after looking at this, really, scam, is they found tremendous — whatever you want to call it, you’re going to have to make up your own determination — but they’ve found tremendous things on the other side.

Trump is likely referring to the Uranium One “scandal” which has revealed no evidence of wrongdoing by Clinton.

When you look at the Hillary Clinton investigation, it’s — you know, I’ve been saying it for a long time — that was a rigged system folks, that was a rigged system. When you look at what they did with respect to the Hillary Clinton investigation, it was rigged and there has never been anything like it in this country that we’ve ever found before.

Just days before the election, then-FBI Director James Comey went out of his way to publicize that investigators were taking a fresh look at evidence pertaining to the Clinton emails investigation — a controversial move that some pollsters believe cost her the presidency. Trump and his backers haven’t been able to provide a coherent explanation for why the FBI would have done that if bureau brass was in fact trying to take Trump down.

It’s very, very sad — very, very sad.

This is accurate.
