Former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, ex-Trump 2016 campaign manager Paul Manafort, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak, and colorful GOP operative Roger Stone are just a few of the key players implicated thus far in this whole mess. Then there are all the allegations against both President Donald Trump’s associates and the president — some of which are more plausible than others.
To top it off, there are multiple investigations into Trump’s associates taking place, at varying degrees of seriousness. And it’s not always entirely clear what questions, exactly, these inquiries are supposed to answer.
