Yesterday, Princeton professor Dr. Cornel West joined hundreds of Occupy DC protesters in march to the Supreme Court to protest the Citizens United decision, which opened up new floodgates of unlimited corporate funding in American elections. West and 19 others were arrested after they refused to dislodge themselves from the steps of the court. Watch video of the arrests:

A spokesman for West says he was released from jail this afternoon after a court appearance.
